What’s the Process?

Once again, each project is different, however homeowners can expect their design process to go as follows:

  1. Initial meeting and site visit with designer
  2. Conceptual Drawings
  3. Revisions
  4. Sign off Drawings
  5. Construction Drawings
  6. Shop or piece drawings

Engineer-stamped plans are becoming more and more common, as more zoning districts require new construction to be built according to code standards. Whetstone Designs has developed relationships with engineers and will assure the plans comply with local codes, are approved by the proper zoning offices.
