2011 Southeastern Regional Meeting

The 2011 Southeastern Regional TFG Meeting will be held Saturday, October 1st, in South Carolina. Our hosts will be Whetstone Designs and MoreSun Custom Woodworking, both of Mountain Rest, South Carolina. This follows the great success of the 2009 and 2010 Southeastern Regional Guild Meetings. Attendance is open to members and non-members alike so spread the word.

The program is still in development, but the highlights include

• A Gin Pole Rigging Demonstration with Brian Phillips at MoreSun Custom Woodworking in the morning.
• We are also planning two or three presentations, a slide show, great food, and good times.

• 10:00- 12:00 – Meet at MoreSun Custom Woodworking for a Gin Pole Rigging Workshop
• Lunch – 12:30 – 1:00
• 1:15-2:00 – Business Track/Hard Skill
• 2:30-3:15- Business Track/Hard Skill
• 3:45-4:30 – Mortise Cleaning Contest
• 5:00-6:30 – Slide Show
• 6:30 – Dinner/Beer
• 7:30 – Music, stump, basketball, batting practice, fire
